Hawaii Preparatory Academy founded in 1949 is a self-governing coeducational school providing a full range of opportunities for students from kindergarten through grade 12. Looking on to the turquoise waters of Pearl Harbor lays the home of the University of Hawaii football teams, Aloha Stadium. The 50,000-seat facility has been home to the state of Hawaii only Division 1 football teams for the past 29 years. The University of Hawaii at Hilo womens cross country team finished in 7th place at the University of Hawaii Big Wave Invitational hosted on the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course.
